NRCS Idaho to hold special State Technical Advisory Committee meeting

NRCS Idaho will hold a special meeting of its State Technical Advisory Committee Aug. 26 covering three areas of the Regenerative Pilot Program. You may attend either in person or via Microsoft Teams.

USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Idaho will hold a special meeting of its State Technical Advisory Committee on August 26 from 10 a.m. to noon. You may attend this hybrid meeting either in person at the NRCS State Office located at 9173 W. Barnes Drive, Suite C or via Microsoft Teams at https://teams.microsoft.com/meet/297965937831048?p=VizaptoC9VbbeOwwii .

The meeting will cover three areas of the Regenerative Pilot Program (RPP):

  • Critical soil and water resource concerns
  • Eligible land uses
  • Additional primary regenerative conservation practices

RPP is farmer first and outcomes based. It emphasizes a conservation management approach that focuses on improved soil health, water management and natural vitality.
