Cover Crops for Soil Health - Western U.S. in-person training

This training course serves to expand the knowledge and application of cover crops as an integral part of a full soil health management system in the western United States.

Course Description

Current science on cover crops, soil health metrics related to use and management of cover crops, advanced species selection considerations, planting methods, and other key design and implementation considerations will be covered in this course. Review of NRCS policy and practices related to establishment of a cover cropping system and its relationship to a soil health management system is also featured.
