The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), in partnership with Ventura County Watershed Protection District (VCWPD), is hosting a public scoping meeting to share information and gather public feedback on a plan to reduce risk for flood damage and protect agricultural water supply within the Ventura River Watershed. Agencies and members of the public are invited to provide insight, present questions, and discuss project development with the team.
Project information will be presented and personnel from the project team will be available to answer questions and receive written comments during the meeting.
Informational materials will be available on the project website beginning September 11.
